Hundreds of bands to rock Sacramento for 2024 Aftershock Festival

Billed as the “West Coast’s largest rock festival,” Aftershock organizers said the 2024 event will have the “biggest lineup yet”.

Over 130 bands will make their way to Discovery Park for the 2024 Aftershock Festival on Oct. 10-13.

The festival’s full lineup was unveiled Wednesday with eight headliners, doubling up on each of the event’s four days.

Slayer and Pantera will headline on Oct. 10, followed by Slipknot and Five Finger Death Punch on Oct. 11, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest on Oct. 12, and Motley Crue and Disturbed on Oct. 13.

The 2024 event will include a fifth stage for the first time in the festival’s 12th year.

“Get ready Sacramento,” organizer Danny Wimmer said in a press release. “This is the biggest Aftershock lineup we’ve ever curated, and the largest rock and music festival ever put together in California.”

Other bands performing at the four-day festival include Evanescence, Breaking Benjamin, Staind, Rise Against, Anthrax, Pantera, Seether, and Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello.

Rapper Tech N9ne and hip-hop duos Cypress Hill and Insane Clown Posse will also take the stage at Discover Park.
