Punk-grunge pioneers L7 have officially announced their farewell run, a final global trek titled “The Last Hurrah Tour.” The first leg kicks off in the United States on October 9, 2026, marking the beginning of the band’s last major chapter on the road.
Known for their raw mix of punk attitude, heavy grunge riffing, political edge, and dark humor, L7 have spent over four decades carving out a fiercely independent legacy. Now, the band says they are ready to close the circle with one final tour connecting with fans worldwide.
In a statement, Donita Sparks reflected on what was originally meant to be a brief reunion after the band’s 2015 documentary, but instead turned into more than a decade of renewed touring:
“When L7 decided to release a documentary in 2015, we thought maybe we would take one last victory lap… Instead, that lap turned into eleven more years of touring, sweat, new music, and reconnecting with the fans who made this all possible.”
She added that seeing longtime supporters alongside new generations of fans has been one of the most meaningful parts of the band’s recent era, calling the final run a chance to deliver “one last, loud, fun, and hopefully unforgettable night of rock and roll.”
