Blackened Pagan Power Metal from the Rocky Mountains. First-ever Stops in Lawrence, Dallas, Austin, Albuquerque!
While they’re just beginning to kindle the fires for their first offering since signing with Season of Mist, Oak, Ash & Thorn continue to fan the flames from their latest album. Following a mead-crushing performance at Decibel Metal & Beer Fest Denver and hammer-thrusting support dates with inspirations Týr, now, freshly armed as a five-piece, the blackened pagan power metal band are announcing their next tour.
This August, Oak, Ash & Thorn will play six special shows across the Midwest and Southwest. This ship sets sail with a lights-out set in front of their home crowd at Mile High Power Fest and ends with a triumphant return to the nearby kingdom of Colorado Springs. Along the way, the band will dock in Lawrence, Dallas, Austin and Albuquerque for the very first time. Not only is this also their first tour since adding newly knighted axeman Kadin Wisniewski. Along with Our Grief Is Thus, they’ll be polishing off an old battle hymn and unsheathing brand new magical odes off their yet-to-be-announced third album.

Lawrence, Austin, Dallas, Albuquerque: lock up your livestock, your gold, your mead and your prettiest among you, for we shall depart from the port of Denver for your shores for the first time ever with fists a-pumping, axes a-swinging! Cower before us as we pillage and plunder amidst rousing choruses of our most stirring battle hymns, including some newly composed, freshly imbued with runic magic that the gods would grant us fortune time and again. Only after quenching our thirst for conquest shall we return to our kingdom in the mountains, our vessel piled high with riches and the spoils of victory, and there shall we celebrate our triumph with a feast in the halls of the great stronghold of Colorado Springs. Hone then your weapons, study your scrolls and join us in bloody revelry!”
