Pallbearer wrapped up their first set of Summer shows supporting YOB on their latest tour in June. Today the band has announced a handful of dates for August that sees the band returning to cities they haven’t stopped in five years. Rwake and Spirit Adrift have also been tapped as support for the short run.
The Arkansas doom metal group also mentioned they will be performing new material on these few shows as well.
The band shared the following:
We’re elated to share the stage next month in Tulsa, Dallas, and at home in Little Rock with Rwake and Spirit Adrift. We’ll be playing new material on these shows and it’s our first time in Dallas and Tulsa in 5 years.
Simply put, Rwake are the centrifuge around which the micrcosm of Arkansas metal orbits, and without them Pallbearer would literally not exist. We couldn’t be more honored to be able to hit the road with them for the first time in our entire history as a band!
We’ve known Nate from Spirit Adrift for over a decade and experiencing his journey with Spirit Adrift has been a galvanizing force. We’ve shared stages and vans many times over the last decade and he even filled in for Brett when he lost his voice in Pittsburgh in 2017. The current SA line up and material is the best they’ve ever been. They’re releasing a new album in August, make sure you check it out.08/25 Tulsa, OK @ The Vanguard
