Alt metal band Papa Roach is making a pit stop at Wallingford’s Toyota Oakdale Theatre this year as part of a limited tour with Canadian heavy metal band Spiritbox. The bands will be performing at the venue on Saturday, Sept. 16.
Both Papa Roach and Spiritbox will be on tour this summer with Shinedown, performing at larger amphitheaters around the country. The five new tour dates take place during breaks on the bands’ tour with Shinedown.
The Oakdale Theatre show will be Papa Roach’s most intimate performance in Connecticut since the band performed at Foxwoods in 2015, according to setlist.fm. Spiritbox performed at the Oakdale last March as an opener for Underoath.
Pre-sale tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, June 21, at 10 a.m. Additional tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 23, at 10 a.m.
Other upcoming acts playing at the Oakdale include YUNGBLUD on July 1, Corey Taylor of Slipknot on Sept. 1 and Black Veil Brides and VV on Sept. 22.
