The Sad Summer Fest went to social media to express they are going to take a break for the upcoming 2025 summer festival season. While nothing is confirmed just yet, it is possible that the festival will be returning for a 2026 run. The festival has incorporated many bands synonymous with the “emo” genre like The Maine, Mayday Parade, Real Friends, The Wonder Years, and others.
