THY ART IS MURDER Drop Off CHAOS & CARNAGE 2026 Tour After Drummer’s Emergency Surgery

What was shaping up to be one of 2026’s most brutal touring packages has taken a sudden hit. Australian deathcore giants THY ART IS MURDER have officially withdrawn from the upcoming CHAOS & CARNAGE TOUR following a medical emergency involving drummer Jesse Beahler.

According to the band, Beahler began experiencing severe abdominal pain while en route to the airport for U.S. rehearsals. He was rushed to urgent care and then the ER, where he was diagnosed with acute appendicitis and immediately underwent emergency surgery.

While the surgery was successful and he is now recovering, doctors have advised him to avoid flying and performing for at least six weeks — forcing the band to pull out of the tour entirely.

In a statement, THY ART IS MURDER addressed fans directly, emphasizing both the seriousness of the situation and their disappointment:

“We know how much this tour meant to a lot of you and we don’t take that lightly… Jesse came through his surgery well and is recovering, but has been medically advised to not fly or perform for six weeks.”

They also acknowledged a grim bit of timing luck, noting the incident occurred before a long international flight rather than mid-journey.

Tour Continues Without Them

Despite the setback, CHAOS & CARNAGE 2026 will go ahead with a reshuffled lineup. Florida wrecking crew BODYSNATCHER will step up into a co-headlining slot alongside CARNIFEX, joined by 200 STAB WOUNDS, INGESTED, GATES TO HELL, and BODYBOX.

The band urged fans to continue supporting the tour:

“Get to these shows, support the bands and support the tour.”

A Tough Blow

For many fans, THY ART IS MURDER’s absence leaves a noticeable void in what was billed as one of the year’s heaviest tours. Still, the remaining lineup ensures the chaos continues — just without one of its most anticipated acts.

For now, the priority remains Beahler’s recovery, with the band aiming to regroup and return to the studio later this summer.
