Well this sucks – Veil Of Maya has cancelled all their upcoming live shows and gone on hiatus. Veil Of Maya hasn’t commented on what caused the hiatus, and has only issued the following statement. Veil Of Maya promises they’ll be back at some point.
“We have made the difficult decision to have Veil Of Maya go on hiatus and we will not be playing any of the upcoming festivals or tours,” wrote the band. “We apologize to our fans and appreciate everyone’s support over the years. This break is necessary for us to reassess our future, and we hope you understand. When the time feels right, we’ll update you on what’s next for Veil Of Maya we will be back. Thank you again”
Veil Of Maya released their first new record in five years Mother in 2023 and just wrapped up a co-headlining slot on the recently-reactivated Summer Slaughter tour. Hopefully everything is alright in the world of Veil Of Maya.
