DOZER Announces North American Tour Dates

Sweden’s stoner rock OGs DOZER are hitting the big 3-0 with a nostalgia-packed compilation called Rewind to Return: Rarities, Singles and B-Sides, dropping August 1st. True to its name, this double album’s like a dusty treasure chest full of remastered deep cuts and forgotten gems, all polished up by KARL DANIEL LIDÉN (who’s probably sweating more over these tracks than a yoga instructor at a desert festival). Feel free to light one up and zone out to their single “Rings Of Saturn” below. Fun fact: DOZER got their name because they wanted something that “sounded heavy but could also be a dog’s name” – mission accomplished.

  1. “Tanglefoot”
  2. “Hail The Dude” (great track, better band T-shirt slogan)
  3. “Centerline”
  4. “Southern Star”
  5. “The Electrocuter”
  6. “Universe 75”
  7. “Serpent’s Head”
  8. “Rings Of Saturn”
  9. “She”
  10. “Mammoth Mountain”
  11. “Silverball”
  12. “Star By Star”
  13. “Season of Giants”
  14. “Vinegar Fly”
  15. “2 Ton Butterfly” (spoiler: that’s approximately 17.5 Stonehenge trilithons)

Pre-orders for this time capsule of fuzz are available here (Bandcamp warriors click here, EU folks here). Pro tip: Lidén’s not just a knob-twiddler – he’s played in bands like GREENLEAF and DEMON CLEANER. Throw ’em a bone and grab your copy.

Better clear your September calendar – DOZER’s hitting the road with Denver’s riff-slingers ABRAMS (who sound like if your favorite 90s alt-rock band discovered drop-tuning) and Portland’s MOON DESTROYS (named after that time the moon “accidentally” crashed into Earth 4.5 billion years ago). Tour dates:

8/7 Las Vegas NV The Swan Dive
8/8 Los Angeles CA Lodge Room
8/9 San Diego CA Brick By Brick
8/10 Palmdale CA Transplants Brewing
8/12 San Francisco CA Bottom Of The Hill
8/13 Eureka CA Savage Henry Comedy Club
8/14 Eugene OR John Henry’s
8/15 Portland OR Dante
