California’s Nintendocore/metalcore pioneers Horse The Band have announced their return to the stage following a 5 year hiatus, which followed many years of sporadic appearances and one off tours.
Partnering with Lambgoat, Horse The band will celebrate 20 years of the groups sophomore album, The Mechanical Hand, with an 8-date tour spanning the West Coast and Texas. The 8-bit influenced metalcore act will be performing the previously mentioned album in full as part of the celebration. Starting in Phoenix, AZ on April 18th the tour will span two weeks, ending in San Antonio, TX on May 3rd.
This tour marks the first shows since Horse The Band played a trio of West Coast dates in December of 2019. Following that run the group would release the band’s most recent EP, Your Fault, in November of 2020. The line up will feature vocalist Nathan Winneke, keyboardist Erik Engstrom, guitarist David Isen, drummer Daniel Pouliot, and bassist Jeremiah Bignell.
Joining Horse The Band on the trek as support will be Lagrimas, Flake, and Othiel.
