Progressive rock’s floating paradise is officially returning in 2027. Cruise To The Edge, widely regarded as the premier prog-rock festival at sea, has unveiled its first wave of artists for next year’s voyage, led by legendary acts KANSAS, STEVE HACKETT, BIG BIG TRAIN and ASIA.
Set to sail aboard the Norwegian Jewel from April 2-8, 2027, the six-night adventure will depart from Miami, Florida and make stops in Cozumel, Harvest Caye and Costa Maya, combining world-class progressive music with a full cruise experience.
The lineup once again blends iconic veterans with modern prog innovators. Returning favorites include HAKEN, PENDRAGON, NEAL MORSE & THE RESONANCE, CALIGULA’S HORSE, TEMIC, SPOCK’S BEARD, MOON SAFARI, THANK YOU SCIENTIST, GAZPACHO, CROWN LANDS and many others.
Several artists will make their Cruise To The Edge debut in 2027, including THE DEAR HUNTER, LUNATIC SOUL, OZRIC TENTACLES, CHEETO’S MAGAZINE, HAUNT THE WOODS, SPAFFORD, DIM GRAY and VOYAGE 35.
Beyond the performances, attendees can expect the cruise’s signature fan-focused activities, including artist Q&A sessions, photo experiences, theme nights, dueling pianos, karaoke, the fan-favorite Wheel Of Prog, and the return of “CTTE Late Night Live,” where guests can take the stage themselves.
For prog fans, the event remains one of the most unique experiences in live music — six days packed with legendary musicians, rising stars, intimate artist interactions and nonstop performances while sailing through the Caribbean.
With one of its strongest lineups to date and an expanded six-night schedule, Cruise To The Edge 2027 is shaping up to be another must-attend gathering for progressive rock and progressive metal enthusiasts alike.
