Mayhem Festival Rebranding for 2025 as Miss Mayhem, Featuring Exclusively Female-Fronted Bands

Mayhem Festival has taken on several identities over the years. While it originated as a traveling festival between 2008 and 2015 before the organisers axed the festival in its entirety, last year it was brought back for a singular date in California.

Now, festival promoter Ash Avildsen is saying the event will be returning to its roots as a travelling festival in 2025, but with an entirely female-fronted line-up and a brand new name.

Previous lineups for Mayhem Festival have been stacked, with bands like BehemothSlayerCannibal Corpse, and Slipknot playing throughout the years. And, last year saw female artists like PoppyKittie and HANABIE. join the lineup.

While speaking with Rock Feed (The PRP), the promoter was unable to reveal more than the fact they “have seven of the eight” female-fronted bands on the line-up, with seven confirmed and that the festival’s name is to be rebranded to Miss Mayhem.
