French psych-rock wrecking crew SLIFT are heading back across the Atlantic this fall with a newly announced North American tour supporting their upcoming album Fantasia, due out June 5 via Sub Pop.
Known for blending crushing heavy psych, cosmic prog, and riff-driven intensity, the trio continue to build momentum after turning heads with their sprawling 2020 breakout Ummon. If the first taste of the new record, “A Storm With Wings,” is any indication, Fantasia is set to push their sound even further into expansive and thunderous territory.
The band shared a cryptic statement alongside the announcement: “For now, this future tour is a dream, a glow shining from the other side.”
The run begins October 6 in Boston before rolling through major cities including New York, Chicago, Denver, Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 24 at 10 a.m. local time.
