Slipknot is continuing to dominate 2024, this time thanks to the announcement of Knotfest Iowa set for September 21 at the Water Works Park in Des Moines. Interestingly, Water Works Park is adjacent to downtown Des Moines and where Slipknot played in 2000 on the legendary Tattoo the Earth tour.
Knotfest Iowa is the first time Slipknot will hit their home state in four years, and is being slated as a special “one night only 25th anniversary celebration.” So pretty in line with the rest of what they’ve been up to lately.

Slipknot played their first two shows of 2024 at the very small Pappy + Harriet’s last week and the not-so-small Sick New World festival. Both shows were Slipknot‘s first with new drummer Eloy Casagrande (it’s absolutely, 100% him) behind the kit.
