Louder Than Life has unveiled the full details for its 2026 return, once again taking over the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky from September 17–20. Now in its twelfth year, the Danny Wimmer Presents-produced event is boasting the biggest lineup in its history, with nearly 200 acts spread across seven stages.
Joining previously announced headliners My Chemical Romance and Iron Maiden are newly confirmed top-billers Tool and Limp Bizkit, rounding out a massive four-day slate of rock and metal heavyweights.

Saturday will also spotlight one of the most prominent all-female-fronted stage lineups ever assembled at a major U.S. rock festival, featuring Halestorm, In This Moment, Lindsey Stirling, Orianthi, Icon for Hire, Kami Kehoe and Diamante. Organizers have also teased a mystery band set to make its live debut and another major modern heavy act still to be announced.
Beyond the headliners, the 2026 bill spans generations and subgenres, with appearances from artists including The Prodigy, Danzig, Rise Against, Alice Cooper, Mastodon, Coheed and Cambria, Anthrax, Ministry, Machine Head, Suicidal Tendencies, Alexisonfire, Thrice, GWAR, Soulfly, Between the Buried and Me, The Acacia Strain, Haste the Day, Mushroomhead and many more.
In addition to the music, all passholders will once again receive free access to amusement rides inside Kentucky Kingdom, which became part of the festival footprint in 2025 and will be open exclusively to attendees throughout the weekend.
New for 2026, Danny Wimmer Presents is launching the “Battle For The Big Stage” competition beginning March 1, giving emerging artists the chance to earn a slot on the lineup. Leading up to the festival, fans can vote during Sunday episodes of the “Space Zebra Show” on the DWP Twitch channel.
Pass options range from single-day GA to 4-Day VIP and the ultra-limited Angel’s Envy Top Shelf VIP packages. For those looking to double up, the Exacta Pass grants access to both Louder Than Life and Bourbon & Beyond across back-to-back Louisville weekends.
With its continued growth and global draw, Louder Than Life maintains its status as America’s largest rock and metal festival — and 2026 looks poised to raise the bar yet again.
