Milwaukee Metal Fest has revealed that acclaimed drummer and radio personality RICHARD CHRISTY will serve as the official guest of honor for the 2026 edition of the event.
Best known in metal circles for his work with DEATH, ICED EARTH, CONTROL DENIED, and INCANTATION, Christy remains one of the most respected drummers to emerge from the extreme metal scene. In more recent years, he has also become widely known for his broadcasting and comedy work — proving blast beats and absurd humor can, in fact, coexist.
Christy is scheduled to appear for fan experiences during the festival and will also perform, adding another major attraction to the already stacked weekend.
Festival owner Jamey Jasta praised Christy as one of the most beloved and talented personalities in heavy music, while also noting his ties to the original Milwaukee Metal Fest era.
The legendary festival returns to The Rave / Eagles Club in Milwaukee, WI from June 5-7, 2026, with a pre-party launching on June 4.
Long considered one of America’s premier metal gatherings, Milwaukee Metal Fest has enjoyed a successful revival in recent years, bringing together classic acts, underground names, and enough riffs to medically concern nearby neighborhoods.
Organizers also announced that the current 15% off ticket sale has been extended through May 3, covering all ticket tiers.
