PINHEAD GUNPOWDER are keeping the momentum going. The long-running punk project featuring GREEN DAY frontman Billie Joe Armstrong and guitarist Jason White has announced a new run of North American tour dates for October and November 2026.
Originally formed in the early ‘90s, PINHEAD GUNPOWDER became a cult favorite thanks to their raw blend of East Bay punk, melodic hooks, and scrappy DIY spirit. Alongside Armstrong and White, the band’s lineup also includes drummer Aaron Cometbus — a legendary figure in the Berkeley punk underground — and bassist Bill Schneider. While the members’ other projects often pulled them in different directions, the band quietly built a devoted following through scattered releases and occasional live appearances.
After spending years mostly dormant, PINHEAD GUNPOWDER returned in 2024 with Unt, their first new album in 16 years. The record felt less like a reunion cash-in and more like old friends reconnecting with the music that first brought them together. The new tour continues that revival, bringing the band back to clubs and theaters across the U.S. and Canada.
The run kicks off October 7 in Minneapolis and includes stops in Chicago, Toronto, New York, Philadelphia, Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. NIGHT SHOP will support the East Coast and Midwest dates, while CONSTANT INSULT joins the West Coast shows.
