In a groundbreaking confession during a recent interview, ARCH ENEMY’s Michael Amott finally confirmed the whispers: every note, riff, and lyric on the upcoming Blood Dynasty album was, in fact, crafted by an Artificial Intelligence. “Honestly, we figured the sound has been ‘dialed in’ for a while now,” admitted Amott, “so we thought, why not let AI take over?” He added, “People said they’d notice if it wasn’t really us, but I mean… have you heard the last three albums?”
The AI, affectionately named MetalCore Bot 5000, was reportedly loaded with ARCH ENEMY’s entire discography to, as Amott put it, “seamlessly regurgitate the perfect blend of brutal riffs, vaguely inspiring lyrics, and exactly one key change per song.” Fans shouldn’t worry, though, as Amott assured them that the album will still be “everything you’ve come to expect and then some!”…though the “some” might just be more of the same.
The band is planning a virtual launch for Blood Dynasty with MetalCore Bot 5000 at the helm, featuring a livestream Q&A session where it will repeat “Welcome to the Blood Dynasty!” at random intervals, guaranteed to leave audiences screaming… for something different.
