Carla Harvey Unveils New Project, Dedicates “Sick Ones” To Every Part Of Her Body That Hurts From Plastic Surgery

In a bold new chapter nobody saw coming (because their eyes were also stretched too tight), Butcher Babies co-founder, certified death professional, and full-time badass Carla Harvey has emerged from the mortuary, the comic book scene, and possibly a cryogenic chamber to debut her new band, The Violent Hour. Their first single, “Sick Ones,” was unleashed today via Megaforce Records — and is reportedly a heartfelt anthem to all the silicone warriors and filler veterans still holding on.

“It’s about cutting toxic people out of your life,” Carla explained in the press release. “But also, it’s about cutting, stitching, smoothing, freezing, re-inflating, and icing down your entire existence in pursuit of personal peace and a perkier aesthetic.”

Sources close to Harvey say the song was originally titled “I Can’t Feel My Face (And It’s Not the Cocaine This Time)” but was changed last minute to align with the track’s NWOBHM-inspired edge. The track features MÖTLEY CRÜE’s John 5 on guitar, because no anthem about excessive self-preservation is complete without a guy who’s had his face rebuilt in three separate eras.

Her fiancé and ANTHRAX drummer Charlie Benante co-wrote the track, stating, “I just wanted to write something as tight as Carla’s current jawline. Every riff is like another syringe full of inspiration.”

The lyrics, screamed into a mic lined with crushed gemstones and the tears of rejected LA auditionees, come from a vulnerable place. “This song came from a dark moment,” Carla shared. “I looked in the mirror and thought, ‘If I get one more procedure, I might finally feel something… or at least move my forehead again.’”

The music video, set to premiere April 25, is rumored to feature Carla rising from a coffin wearing a vintage KISS corset and swinging a scalpel at ex-boyfriends, toxic friends, and expired Botox coupons, all while being chased by an army of grief counselors.

But don’t get it twisted — this isn’t a comeback. “I’ve always been here,” Carla insists, “just in various stages of embalming, exfoliation, and emotional exfoliation.” With her impressive resume including embalmer, comic artist, grief specialist, and glamazon necromancer, fans are calling this new project “the most terrifying and seductive musical resurrection since Rob Zombie discovered eyeliner.”

If “Sick Ones” is truly the tip of the iceberg, one can only imagine what other body parts will be honored on the album. Early rumors suggest track two is titled “Rest in Peels” and a power ballad called “Nip/Tuck You” closes the EP with a violin solo performed entirely on a Botox needle.

So buckle up, exfoliate responsibly, and stay tuned. The Violent Hour is here — and if you feel any emotion while listening, Carla can help embalm that too.
