PANTERA Announces Summer 2025 U.S. Tour with AMON AMARTH, Phil Anselmo To Dedicate “Fucking Hostile” To Elon Musk

Brace yourselves, America—PANTERA is hitting the road again in summer 2025 for what’s being hyped as “The Heaviest Tour Of The Summer.” Alongside Amon Amarth, who will supply the Viking horns and battle axes, and an as-yet-unannounced opener (we’re praying it’s not another dad rock band), the legendary groove metal act will shake amphitheaters across the country.

But wait—there’s drama!

During the press release, frontman Phil Anselmo made an impromptu declaration, announcing that every single performance of “Fucking Hostile” on this tour will be explicitly dedicated to Elon Musk—a man Anselmo now considers his “sworn nemesis.”

“Look, I ain’t trying to start anything stupid again,” Phil clarified, “but when I got wasted and did something dumb, I had the whole world tryna cancel me. Meanwhile, Elon out here doin’ the same shit, and people just shrug like, ‘Oh well, he’s a genius.’ Nah, man. If I’m gonna get heat for that, I want him in the same damn fire.”

At press time, Musk had not responded, presumably too busy tweeting something dumb or cyberbullying his own employees.

Meanwhile, Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante continue to carry the torch for the late, great Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul, promising fans the most thunderous renditions of PANTERA classics, albeit with slightly less chance of onstage brawls than in the ‘90s.

Tickets go on sale Friday, February 28, at 10:00 AM local time—so grab yours before Musk decides to buy all of them just to mess with Phil.
